    The same can be said of hurricanes and tornadoes but posters on here chase them from all over the country. We don't control the weather, it just happens. The October snowstorm of 2006 took down 70% of the trees in Buffalo and we didn't have power for 2 weeks, but you wouldn't see anyone on here posting about hoping for less snow for that event.

    January 1998 North American ice storm- all timer right there.

    What was that one legendary ice storm in quebec? Had like 3" of freezing rain? What year was that?

    I would lock that ice storm in so fast. Can you imagine. I'd probably get off of work paid for like 10 days with 1.5" of freezing rain. The city would shut down for weeks.

    I can't lie I wish I was smack dab in the middle of that. I'd rather go out chasing a crazy snowstorm than old and in a hospital bed.
