  1. So its pretty funny. Not sure if I told anyone this or not. But my next door neighbor is a photographer and storm chaser. She chases tornadoes all over the midwest. It was destiny to move next door to someone that loves the weather as much as I do. We talk about it all the time. A few pictures from her.
  2. I think I get almost as excited for thunderstorms as lake effect bands. Don't tell tughill that though.

  12. The main reason I don't want it too cold in winter is the lake freezes up quicker. I want to maximize lake eries potential.
  13. I've been here and its beautiful. Pretty close to you guys.
  14. The posters you find on weather forums are the majority of the time going to be ones that like the cold. People that like the heat and sun don't post here, or if they do its rare. I'm similar to a few posters on here that enjoy seasons in seasons. Hot and humid in summer and snowy and relatively cold in winter. There are definitely lakes near you though, they're not a luxury they are everywhere in upstate NY. You have the finger lakes, lake ontario, and several other lakes in and around syracuse, or just hop into a friends pool.
  15. Yeah things won't be normal for a long time. Most likely summer of 2021.

  18. Looks like most colleges and most likely schools will start back up in late August/early September for most of the country. Things will finally get back to normal.
  19. If everything goes smoothly we will be at stage 4 by June 30th.
  20. Stage 2 starts tomorrow for most of NY. Stage 2 for Upstate is June 2nd. My Barber is already booked for 2 weeks. Are gyms stage 2 or stage 4? https://www.syracuse.com/coronavirus/2020/05/ny-releases-guidelines-for-offices-retail-shops-real-estate-and-other-phase-2-businesses.html
