  1. Same with Brazil. 1k+ deaths a day. They are also entering their winter down there. Bad combination.
  2. Almost everyone at one Michigan prison tests positive for COVID-19 antibodies https://www.freep.com/story/news/local/michigan/2020/05/28/coronavirus-antibodies-michigan-parnall-correctional-facility/5270127002/
  3. Antibody Tests Point To Lower Death Rate For The Coronavirus Than First Thought https://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2020/05/28/863944333/antibody-tests-point-to-lower-death-rate-for-the-coronavirus-than-first-thought
  4. Transmission of the coronavirus is 20x lower in outdoor settings, viral load lower as well https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2020.02.28.20029272v2
  5. over 1,500 deaths. It's going to be awhile before we get to under 100 a day. I think once is all said and done we will be between 2-300k deaths in USA. Brazil and India are going up quick. Brazil is now the only other country going above 1k deaths a day now.
  6. This is where we talk about the result of shutting down being worse then the virus itself. Buffalo has lost 23.3% of its private sector jobs. https://www.wgrz.com/article/news/health/coronavirus/buffalo-suffers-the-third-worst-job-loss-in-the-nation-because-of-covid-19/71-f058cdc9-c5de-4800-95bd-50284eadbad3
  7. The insider trader we talked about a little bit ago is free to go after a large donation. https://www.politico.com/news/2020/05/20/kelly-loeffler-trump-super-pac-272626
  8. So what's everyone's predictions about what happens the next few months when everything opens up? A huge spike? Small Spike? Gradual decline? Do you think fall features round 2? I watched an interview with a doctor where he said we have never made a successful vaccine for a respiratory virus before...ever https://www.abc.net.au/news/health/2020-04-17/coronavirus-vaccine-ian-frazer/12146616
  9. Definitely click bait. But issued by the same provider 10 days apart. Just goes to show you how the media manipulates things.
  10. This guy needs to make up his mind. "Dr. Anthony Fauci says staying closed for too long could cause ‘irreparable damage’' https://www.cnbc.com/2020/05/22/dr-anthony-fauci-says-staying-closed-for-too-long-could-cause-irreparable-damage.html 10 days ago- "Dr. Fauci reportedly to testify reopening too early risks ‘needless suffering and death’ from coronavirus" https://www.cnbc.com/2020/05/12/coronavirus-dr-fauci-warns-reopening-too-early-risks-needless-suffering-and-death.html
  11. Cardio with a mask would be good training for my Kilimanjaro hike. It's summer though, so I won't be doing much cardio indoors. Most people in summer only weight train at the gym.
  12. I feel like people are going to clean their machines and try to keep their distance after 3-4 months of no gym. Even if they aren't I'll be cleaning my equipment after use as I always have.
  13. I'll be at the gym the first day its open. I've been working out at home for 2 months+ with 20 lb dumbells, a 65 lb bar, and HILT training. It just isn't the same.
  14. NFL TV contracts are huge but NHL are not. NHL will be hurt quite badly without arena ticket sales and concessions. Ottawas owner is on the verge of bankruptcy and I'm sure there are a few others as well. Even Pegula is hurting quite bad.
  15. Gyms are fully open in Florida. No mask required. A bunch of friends there are posting videos on instagram.
  16. Phase One businesses that can reopen with a social distancing guideline in place include: Manufacturing Construction Retail (delivery or curbside pickup) If two weeks have gone by and there is no data to show that Phase One caused setbacks, then Phase Two can begin, which includes law firms, more retail, and professional service industries. If another two weeks go by and there are still no setbacks, then Phase Three can begin, which are restaurants and bars in Western New York, with a limited capacity, per Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz. This means that if there are no setbacks with the first two phases, restaurants and bars in Western New York could reopen by sometime in mid-June. Phase Four would include movie theaters, other recreational businesses, and places of worship. The entire opening process would take about eight weeks, assuming there are no setbacks. All businesses opening up must have a written plan in place for social distancing, submitted to the state before reopening, according to Mark Poloncarz.
  17. My series 65 test got reschedule 4 times is finally good to go tomorrow. This quarantine gave me more time to study and prepare, but its a very difficult test.
  18. I'm taking 3 scoops of preworkout for that first lift in the gym. Going to an all time lifting session.
  19. Hopefully there is some truth to the warm weather having a positive impact on the spread and we see a gradual decline all summer. But I feel like its inevitable that cases go up as we reopen.
  20. Phase One: Starting May 15th Central New York, Finger Lakes, Mohawk Valley, North Country and Southern Tier are allowed to reopen Construction Agriculture, Forestry, Fishing and Hunting Retail - (Limited to curbside or in-store pickup or drop off) Manufacturing Wholesale Trade Phase Two: Not Open Professional Services Retail Administrative Support Real Estate / Rental & Leasing Phase Three: Not Open Restaurants / Food Services Phase Four: Not Open Arts / Entertainment / Recreation Education
  21. I would take no fans for the entire season and then fans for the playoff game. Can you imagine the price of those tickets? The playoff game wouldn't be until January, I think we have fans by then.
  22. What about contact tracing? I thought that was the one we were missing?
