I actually prefer this. Can travel anywhere, take a test a few days before and be good to go once I land. It beats having to quarantine for 2 weeks, it's only 3 days now.

Cuomo just launched a new covid traveling requirement. Syracuse, N.Y. -- Gov. Andrew Cuomo today eliminated the ever-growing quarantine travel list with a new testing requirement for those entering New York from other states. Instead, all people entering New York will have to bring proof of a negative coronavirus test, Cuomo said. That test must be within three days of coming into the state. The traveler must then quarantine for three days. On the fourth day, the traveler must get another test. Once that second test comes back negative, the person is no longer quarantined, he said. If traveler doesn’t get tested, then he or she must quarantine 14 days after arriving in New York -- no matter where they come from, Cuomo said. People who leave the state for just 24 hours will follow a different requirement, Cuomo said. Medical professionals were caught off guard and did not know what they were dealing with initially with covid. It took some time to come up with proper treatment plans. People were being put on ventilators almost right away at the start of this pandemic which led to the high mortality rate initially. That rate has since been declining. Now we have theuropetics that work quite well against it. Look at Trump for instance, 3 days and almost back to full health. Regeneron and Remdesevir are able to take a big hit in the symptoms of patients and hospital stays.

I think we see a dramatic rise in cases for several months but deaths won't likely keep up with the trends of previous months due to better treatment. Vaccines likely start early next year. Going to be a rough couple months though.

The large gatherings are already taking place. The polling place I went to at Town Hall had hundreds of people in line through small corridors all tightly packed together. Far more people are congregated together in voting right now then will be at thanksgiving. Everyone in line was talking about how many Covid violations are being made the entire 30 minute wait to vote.

My friend in California works on covid floor stated that it is only being used in Beverly Hills west hollywood hospital, but if you're wealthy enough you can probably get your hands on it. Their hospital is too poor for it. But looks like its only available in a hospital setting at this moment.
