Global warming leading to less arctic intrusions and less NW flow. It's a valid hypothesis TBH. The same can be said for all areas that rely on LES to get yearly averages.

The western sides of the lakes have had more lake effect then the eastern sides have this year. I don't think I've ever seen such a thing. Wisconsin and Illinois got more lake effect then Michigan did.

March and April are my least favorite months. It's usually too cold to do much outside unless March 2012 and too warm for snow most of the time after 3rd week of March. June-August are my favorite months, followed by Nov-Jan. (Lake effect Season)
