Pretty big downturn this week

I thought every vaccine was independently reviewed by hundreds of the bests scientist in the world? I guess they all could be paid off beforehand?

Its just the increase year over year of excess deaths from the preceding years. 1917 to 1918 and 2019 to 2020 year over year 12% vs 16%. Still a pretty valid statistic comparing 100 years ago. Adjustments must be made for the differences in population size of the United States in 1918 compared to 2020. Additionally, as health care and public health measures have improved, the population’s lifespan has risen. As a result, the per capita death rates for the two periods are substantially different, which adds complexity to these comparisons. Nevertheless, the 16 percent increase in the death rate in 2020 from preceding year, compared to the 12 percent jump during the 1918 Spanish flu pandemic, is staggering.

A few of my friends took a pretty big loss with workhorse. The USPS contract was supposed to go to them but ended up going elsewhere.

It's so decentralized that it would be impossible for the government to truly intervene. It's the ultimate separation from church and state. The only way for the government to truly mess everything up is to impose some crazy tax on crypto gains. I believe the current structure is long/short term capital gains similar to stocks. But I think in the long run its comparable to precious metals at 28% tax.

Well there is technology in most of the top 10 coins that is most likely going to be used quite a bit. Doge was created as a meme coin so I don't really trust it. But I think quite a few of the coins in blockchain/digital assets are 100% going to take over most payment methods. We are already seeing institutions use it. There are already crypto ATMS in some areas.
