  1. I don't think the government can ban their use, they are far too decentralized.
  2. This is the most expensive item ever sold. In shooting games like counter strike people buy guns/knifes that have skins for hundreds/thousands of dollars. There was a skin for a gun sold in counter strike for $61,000. I just sold an item on steam marketplace for a few hundred that I didn't even know I had a few weeks ago. "In real life, you can buy stars and own parts of asteroids, at least if you’ve got enough cash. In the game Entropia, you can own a whole planet. A company named SEE Virtual Worlds showed that when they negotiated a deal to buy the planet Calypso from MindArk Studios. In the end, they got it. The final price? Over 6 MILLION dollars."
  3. You should see what kind of money people pay for virtual items in video games. It will blow your mind.
  4. I get my 2nd Saturday. For the first shot I was just fatigued for 4-5 days, no other issues. The only person I know that had bad side effects was my mother in law. She was pretty much bed ridden for 3 days with a high fever/chills. She also doesn't drink enough water, and is prone to kidney stones. There seems to be a strong coorelation between water/side effects.
  5. That's so weird there. You can walk to almost any doctors office or clinic here and get your shot tomorrow if you're 16+ in NYS. I've known many people my age who've gotten it with no issues at all. It seems those that get sick are like 10%, not the 90% who have little to no symptoms. It's more prevalent with shot #2.
  6. Storms weakened quite a bit as they moved onshore.
  7. Was about to go to driving range with my dad, not with those storms coming! Taking the camera to the waterfront.
  8. Really lame on a tornado risk day. They are pretty rare here.
  9. Yeah perfect day out. Going disc golfing after work.
  10. High blood pressure, slightly overweight, and has some kidney/liver issues. Nothing major but obviously some preexisting conditions. I feel like everyone has preexisting conditions once we get up in age though. I mean I had asthma in my teens/early twenties.
  11. I just remember that shooting texas at a church where everyone holstered within seconds. Without that dozens of people die. I pretty much agree with everyone else here.
  12. He thinks he got it attending a funeral but he just called my cousin to discuss life insurance, pretty scary. This is his 2nd time at the hospital within 9 days on oxygen, this time he is doing worse.

  14. My cousins 45 year old dad is in critical care with covid right now.
  15. My cousins 45 year old dad is in critical care with covid right now. Go get your shot.
  16. I actually like dry summers. My yard is brutal when its wet.
  17. I hate the rain and hate the cold this time of year. Easy pass on both.
  18. Still looks ok here, but with rain chances. Mid 70s tues/wed
  19. I thought every vaccine was independently reviewed by hundreds of the bests scientist in the world? I guess they all could be paid off beforehand?
  20. Its just the increase year over year of excess deaths from the preceding years. 1917 to 1918 and 2019 to 2020 year over year 12% vs 16%. Still a pretty valid statistic comparing 100 years ago. Adjustments must be made for the differences in population size of the United States in 1918 compared to 2020. Additionally, as health care and public health measures have improved, the population’s lifespan has risen. As a result, the per capita death rates for the two periods are substantially different, which adds complexity to these comparisons. Nevertheless, the 16 percent increase in the death rate in 2020 from preceding year, compared to the 12 percent jump during the 1918 Spanish flu pandemic, is staggering.
