  1. There are hundreds of unvaccinated people at ECMC, the shortage of nurses was already there, now its going to be insane. You better not break a leg, because the wait time might be a few days.
  2. Yeah I had everything ready to go chase and watched it fall apart so never left the house.
  3. To be fair they can get tested weekly instead. My best friend is the biggest anti vaxxer on the planet and works at one of these employers. He is not going to be happy.
  4. The best part about a 17 game season and a late start to NFL season are quite a few chances at snow games in Orchard Park this year!
  5. There is some good news about the climate this summer. In regards to Arctic Ice coverage: "We may have reached the area minimum on 9/1....we're currently about 75k above the 9/1 value of 3.19 million sq km. Still a bit too precarious to call it, but if we had a 9/1 area min, that would be the earliest min since 1992." Also this is happening this week
  6. 2014-2015 was my favorite winter. Just endless LES events and not too cold.
  7. Welcome back Dave! When @ayuudcomes back you know winter really started.
  8. The last picture of waterspouts I posted was from Huron, I was incorrect.
  9. My buddies wife who passed away due to covid, 3 weeks in the ICU. Was 43, not 38 like I said earlier. Did not get the vaccine.
  10. This is why I travel and hike so much. Both of my parents can't do what I do every weekend. I treasure each day that I am healthy, especially after what happened to me in January. It can be taken away from you at any moment.
  11. She is doing okay, still undergoing immunotherapy every 3 weeks on Friday for the forseeable future. Shes at roswell 1-2 times a week every week. The cancer will never go away, its damage control for the rest of her life. Quality of life varies from day to day.
  12. Agreed, they are the best winters. Really hope everything works out with you son.
  13. The Euro seasonal has a pretty cold Canada this winter, we take that look all day.
  14. The Seward range so Seward, Donaldson, Emmons, and Seymour.
  15. No bugs at all up there. It was freezing sleeping in my hammock overnight at 2500 feet. Had to be in the upper 30s/low 40s. Once you get below 50 the bugs usually go away.
