  1. @DeltaT13 You going to Monday night game against the Pats, last few days have showed a storm for the game. I'll be there!
  2. Pretty big early season event in ski country https://forecast.weather.gov/product.php?site=NWS&product=PNS&issuedby=BUF ...Cattaraugus County... Cattaraugus 3W 16.8 in 0700 AM 11/29 COOP Holiday Valley with 18" storm total and 26" on the year. Past 24 Hours 12 in. Past 48 Hours 18 in. Season Total 26 in.
  3. Average temps in Nov start out at 53/38 and work there way down to 42/29. Can't get much snow in November unless you get some really cold departures.
  4. To be fair the last 2 weeks around here have been quite wintry, just didnt expect a NW flow the entire time. Below normal temps for the month look likely for everyone in Upstate, usually that equates to above average snowfall more times than not. I still like the call.
  5. Different world down in ski country 17” is highest total I could find so far and still snowing
  6. Lake Erie is 1 degree below normal now. 2 weeks of NW flow and these colder than normal temps are finally taking a toll.
  7. This is without tonights snowfall https://www.holidayvalley.com/winter/conditions-report/ Snow Fall Past 24 Hours 8 in. Past 48 Hours 8 in. Season Total 14 in.
  8. That is a great setup at 192 hours on EPS. Greenland block along with deep through and plenty cold for snow. That is time period to watch for big snowstorm somewhere in the East. The biggest takeaway on this picture is the PV rotating lobes of colder air around as its on our side of the globe. That favors periods of below normal temps every couple days.
  9. We don't lose our blocking, its still there. Very quick flow though. There is nothing that makes me think we won't get a normal Upstate December so far.
  10. @lakeeffectkid383 taking the under on this map, we're close to the 8-12.
  11. The GFS pattern is extremely active, we should hit on 1/2 of those waves. That's a big synoptic snowstorm type pattern if it aligns right. Tons of gulf moisture with wave after wave.
  12. Seems like we don't know enough about it yet to determine how dangerous it is. Might be more contagious but less deadly and just a normal cold.
  13. Is this testing for the new variant or covid in general. either way someone messed up.
