Currently 55 and sunny...Heading to 62ish. Warm week ahead for us. Not going to lie, i am ok with it. Need to get outside for some exercise.

Picked up an inch and a half of rain last night. Looking like more needed rainfall next weekend too. If we cant have cold/snow, I will gladly take the needed rainfall.

I've been complaining about lack of rain since spring. Unfortunately it's getting really bad in my parts. We are way under in precip for the year, and it looks to continue in the new year.

Are you insane? 5 inches already in Stony Brook. It's still snowing with heavier bands that will develop overnight. 8 to 10 inches is very possible

It's only 22 degrees and 2 inches of snow on the ground on Stony Brook long Island. Coming down heavy. I bet we wind up with 10 inches if it stays cold, which I think it will.

Had a high of 71 yesterday. Rain and wind overnight. Sitting at 40 right now with gusty winds. I am not so sure we get into the teens overnight if the wind continues. Winter is back for a couple days.

Its December 14th, stop complaining if the forecast bust low. Be happy a snowfall happened this early. Its been MANY years this has happened.

Just picked up a half inch of rain so far with the 1st line moving through. Hoping for more later in the day with the 2nd round of T-storms. Much needed precip here. So ironically I am going back to work after being retired for 2 years. Outdoor work, and looks like rain the whole 1st week I start. Hasn't rained here for 4 mos. I might be retired again quickly.
