    You ever tried riding in the river valleys in late February? It usually sucks. I've been riding in Baker River Area for years and around 20 Feb the trails are usually toast, half gravel half snow. Maybe not every year, but most. The elevations are still ok.

    Yep, by mid Feb nothing sticks around. Can get some big dogs but they start melting as soon as the storm pulls away, even up in DendriteLand.

    Yeah I was thinking a nice fresh 4" in Campton NH area for snowmobiling, but it might actually be a net negative...... Sucks

    Middle of the night in late January at 1050' in northern Worcester county, and still can't get wintry precip. What a joke our climate has become.

    Wachusett is just so busy now, the area really could use another mountain. That's why I stopped buying a season pass, line would be too long and I'd just end up at the bar ... Or at least that's what I tell myself

    I hate the hypothetical, but where do we thing the R/S will set up for Thu/Fri? My guess is maybe between Dendrite's latitude and 1P1?

    I did make it out on the ice, upper baker pond in Orford NH. Good day, even though lots of rain. Just enough ice, 6" total but top 3" was junk.

    Dunno, not too far from there at th moment, and the snow growth is quite poor.
