  1. I think the winds on the backside will be more than people expect..... nothing too crazy but certainly some outages and minor damages, maybe a tip-up here and there since the ground is a sog fest.
  2. North Worcester County. I guess a 50 mile shift either way would make a big difference.
  3. And they carry loads of freight each day too.....wild.
  4. Fish storm no matter how you look at it, sorry.
  5. Fog rolling in and out in GVegas, just now a glimpse of sun. Looks like a flooder type of day
  6. Nova Scotia seems to get hit fairly often. Seems like a good place for extreme lately. Wildfires, epic floods, and canes.
  7. The Cape has a ton of beautiful kettle ponds as well, with the nice sandy bottom. Good spot for both fresh and salt water fishing, or swimming.
  8. Likely a few days of onshore flow with grey skies and maybe some sprinkles, I'm all set.
  9. And NPR, Everytime I tune in it's something about how climate change is to blame..... I could only imagine if we had a 1950s redux what everyone be saying......
  10. The "I" thing isn't that surprising, because it's typically around the peak season. Certainly not going to be a U or X.
  11. What about our PRE? No one seems to be talking about it.
  12. The hills to the southwest (Dorchester area) and to the north (Stinson Lake area) get quite a bit more snow and retain it a lot better than in the Baker River Valley itself. Can be hardly any in valley but 18'' up in the hills.
  13. Yeah got one big rumble but that's it, then started raining, still raining lightly. Overall a very nice weekend contrary to what we thought it was going to be.
  14. there's probably a machine somewhere there to turn them in for tickets, @Ginx snewxwould know
  15. I know Foxwoods only takes those paper tickets or cards I believe. I think you can put bills in but it'll spit out a ticket. Don't remember coins being an option
  16. Awful for August. Typically our sunniest month. It's like we never left May all summer. Hung up fronts and cut off lows ATT.
  17. Stein just said on NPR it's going to be 80 Saturday? Seems showery and generally blah east of 495
  18. Thread didn't get much action this year, sad.
  19. Funny how much better MA handled 6" of rain vs VT. Goes to show you how much terrain makes a difference.
  20. Augdüst is our second hottest month and is mid summer. No ACATT wishcasting will change this hot hard fact.
