  1. Lost about 1 degree in past hour, down to 37.6 IMBY. Trees swaying a bit. Still rain but expect to see some mixing soon based on nearby reports.
  2. Well yes I realize that. But I thought the past 24-48 hr trends pretty much killed that snowfall probability for C MD to something more like 1-2%. Twenty percent chance seems optimistic at this point. One can hope ....
  3. Columbia 7:30am -- temp steady for past hour at 38.5; 0.27" rain so far. Notice my local text forecast has 20% snow between 2-8am on Saturday ?!?!
  4. I got 3” and the ground is more white than green. I’m good.
  5. Counting snow, sleet, compacting/melting and overnight lite dusting, think I'm gonna just go with 3" even, unless today over-performs. Yesterday afternoon before sleet I had a few measurements approaching 2.7" and 2.8",
  6. Lite snow showers 31 degrees. Overnite high temp 37 degrees.
  7. Columbia 6:30pm: mod sleetfest has replaced pouring snow. 25.2° up 1/2 degree in 1/2 hr.
  8. Been ripping in Columbia for at least past 90 mins. when I first noticed. Have also had a few biting in-your-face wind gusts. Temp has gone up 1.4 in last hour to 24.7. A few quick measurements of about 2-1/2”, plus or minus.
  9. It’s been ripping at least for last 30 mins. Altho temp has crept up to 23.4.
  10. Columbia 4-F club: First fine flakes falling. 10.3 low temp at dawn. 22.1 at 2:00pm w/first flakes My low-bar of victory/acceptability since Saturday is a 3” snowfall, even if it washes away.
  11. Noticed my Columbia morning text forecast update slightly upped daytime accums from 1-2” to 1-3”. I’ll take what I can get. edit: after morning low of 10 at dawn, just hit 20 imby at 11:45am. First time all morning I’ve lost vailed sun, finally.
  12. I have (perhaps too) high expectations for the WAA thump.
  13. My bar for this event in Columbia, even if snow gets washed away in the end: Less than 3" total snowfall = BUST 3"- 4" -- Decent, all things considered 4"- 6" -- Better than I would have expected, all things considered > 6" -- BOOM Ground coated/covered white after storm ends and it looks like winter outside: That's all I really ever hoped for. Morning low 10.3 around dawn. Up to 16.6 at 10:15am. Need clouds to hold tough and need snow to roll in quickly today.
  14. Bottomed out at 17.5° this morning around 7am.
  15. Columbia 7am. 18°. Sun not yet up so a little time for temp to lower some more. Kinda expected a lower temp this morning considering clear skies and light winds and low 20s at bedtime Monday.
  16. Isolated snow shower in progress. 27°
  17. Depleted by injuries. Given who they had as backups, they competed pretty well IMO. Lots of mistakes, several questionable coaching calls and a play here and there they needed to make but didn’t make .... could’ve been the winning difference in several games. Sure, any of those painfully close games could have been one but as they say ... the really good teams seem to find a way to win. Let’s see them at full strength next year! If healthy, they should be among the top teams. Certainly among the most exciting.
  18. Thx. It’s always the easiest thing u don’t even think about.
  19. The only thing the Ravens led the league in this year was injuries. The outcome of this game was known to us all, before it even began.
  20. Looks like white rain 34.4° Columbia 12:15pm
  21. Sunrise, looks like my morning low is 16.2 in my Columbia 'hood.
  22. In Baltimore it was Jim Smith on WJZ channel 13 and back then they were an ABC affiliate. CBS now.
