  1. another storm has arrived. also there are trees down all over town from the previous storm, trees into houses across the county, and 2 reports of roof damage (not sure if from wind or trees).
  2. just now--the one that just got warned for 60 mph winds.
  3. total whiteout of rain outside, tons of thunder, vibrant lightning, and some gusty wnds. finally some rain--and a really close lightning strike that that blipped the power.

  6. i guess technically it “rained”. very disappointing.
  7. 84/73 and it is thundering with rain finally headed my way! it's so weird to be happy that it's going to rain.
  8. the previous storm missed me to the north, but that line is hitting now with rain and a little wind. the short term forecast message mentions 50 MPH winds and small hail.
  9. 90/72 and going from the a/'d car to the a/c'd house, i have to admit that the sun felt good on my sore shoulders. and now it's suddenly raining and thundering as a storm is forming overhead.
  10. 80/61 here—it’s been a gorgeous Independence Day. my husband got some watermelon moonshine earlier so later i’ll make some adult slushies to watch the neighborhood fireworks extravaganza.

  12. it’s the 3rd or 4th consecutive day of afternoon thunder, but maybe we’ll get some decent rain today for a change. 88 for the high today.
  13. finally a thunderstorm overhead and it's raining. today's high was 94.
  14. a storm missed me to the north, but it was still really loud. no rain and currently 82 from a high of 96.
  15. today's high was 98. totally miserable day.

  17. nearly 3" in the last 7 days out here. good stuff and I am guessing our drought is finally over.
  18. 3 thunderstorms last night, the last one at 2:30 am with heavy rain and super intense lightning, too. i’ll have to check the rain total but it’s been a wet few days out here—good.

  20. storm grew right overhead. torrential rain and some wind. I'm out of propane but had decided to put off getting more. looks like it was the right decision, lol.
  21. 2.65". not enough to end the drought but at least something. and now the sun is peeking out.
  22. 1.21" so far. the rainiest day in a long time.
  23. .88" so far--a lot more than I was expecting this early in the day.
