literally every type of frozen precip is falling here,temp is still well below freezing at 27f. Ice skaking rink up here in the bronx.

Some areas have a gd accumulation esp nw of prov,still snowing hard. The mix line is moving north though.

Yeah i just checked the cams around prov..its near whiteout. In the city proper.

Somebody in rhode island is getting racked rn,they jackpot near providence.

Its 26 with sneet falling. Although i see this going to snow as heavier stuff gets in here. Still no liquid present..

Its still 25 here in the nw bronx. Awaiting the batch,still lightly snowing here..

The bronx is about to get rocked,that batch should be all snow for northern city areas,the next half hour will be telling.

Along the water its a mix,just inland its prob snow. The east end is already at or just a tad above freezing.

Its 25/23 here. Heavy bands everywhere and moving north in to nyc. The bx seems to be doing well,big diff from the last time where it snowed and rained where it snowed everywhere else..we should go over the 3 easy..maybe 4+

It shows as sleet but its prob heavy snow/sleet. Those bands are building all around and south of us as well. The coastal has started its deepening phase.

I have 2.4 down here and its snowing hard rn,also southern nyc is about to get gobsmacked by a mega band.

Cpk broke its record and it's still snowing, so its a mute point now. Also lets follow this baby as it starts to phase. Coastal,backside artic energy,and a max jet entering our area currently. Sounds like a great recipie for what happens later.

Backside energy sliding, coastal forming. We aint done yet. Also there is a max jet firing up the coast,explains the pop up snow now over us and building.

Yeah,spotty maxes everywhere,i do think we add though and break the cpk snowless record.

Coming in from my morning jebwalk to the store,im actually shocked to see almost 2 inches down..its been snowing even when nothing is shown on radar too. I can see us reaching 3+ depending on where the mix line makes it,either way we go back to snow on the backside which i think we bank on later.

I actually think the best snows are still to come,everything that is blowing up to our west is going to start moving east and consolidate near the coast. Depending on where the coastal is or how it strong develops,it might still be snowing/mix thruout the day.

Its filling in currently. We look gd for the next few hours atleast.

We break the snowless streak soon,def in the next incoming batch. Up here in the bronx we are at 1 inch currently.
