it's all going to be dependent on if we pop a western ridge or not

GEFS is definitely better, deeper 50/50 and more interaction with ULL in NW US and EPAC which builds more ridging in the west, and also less meridonal flow in WC

EPS is a lot better

EPS has improved, looks less meridonal(it digs less and is less amped)

that still was an amazing change on euro, we were close to being hammered

hopefully it holds at 12zs

This run is going to cook

Gfs looks improved more zonal

euro will likely be worse but nothing like GFS

More zonal like flow in the west coast on new gefs, loving it

yeah a lot worse, trough digs more because of more ridging in pacific reaching lower lattiudes which amplifies the trough downstream and creates a more meridonal flow on the WC as well SER linkup with the fake block, not good trends

it is a possibillity that models are downplaying the influence the MJO signal has downstream, but obv I wouldn't hold my breath on that
