  1. Really cuts down the FDK to Westminster area totals...
  2. Going b/w parachute flakes and mix rn/sn.
  3. That storm made me want to move out of downtown Frederick area...not kidding. I didn't go far, but I noticed it always seems to drop about 3 degree when going from work (Ballanger area at 300') out to the house in Lake Linganore area (550')...hopefully that will make a bit of a difference in the future...albeit small.
  4. Looking pretty wintery at the FDK/WA county line over 1000' per the MDOT cam...
  5. Snowing but no stickage really in New Market...some soupy slush on favored surfaces, but not much to speak of so far.
  6. Pretty steady at 35.4-35.8 in the heavier rain now...
  7. Hard to tell, but sounds of a few pingers on the window in this band...at best it is a few mixed in with mid rain.
  8. 36.8 and rain (~550' New Market, MD)
  9. Euro looks fun for IMBY (New Market ~550'). Hope the Euro keeps the gravy train rolling...
  10. Yeah...tis a blowin'. I live on top of the first hill going into New Market and it blew some things over already that haven't budged in months....
  11. Subtle shake in Frederick....nothing like the 5.8 though.
  12. I was in the shower and almost lost my balance....that thing meant business.
  13. Modified looks like great fun....some day I would like to do a B-mod garand, but that will be a bit in the future at the least. Good luck this season.

  14. I know of her, but never actually talked with her. I only did a handful of D.C events last year. I hope to make them all this upcoming season. I actually use strano's (I guess it is actually Carter Thompson's) front sway bar on the car. I thought about going full tilt F-prepared this year, but couldn't justify it at this point. I'm not quite ready to make that large of a commitment.

  15. I am a bit of a solo noob....transitioning so far, but am enjoying it. I run in the D.C. region. Trying to expand a bit this season. Unfortunately we in the Mid atlantic/New england didn't get much love on the 2011 schedule. I also run a club called Autocrossers Inc....which is where Strano, karwan, and some others call their home club. It's not fun getting beat from time to time by an FS Car

  16. Another SCCA solo person. I may be down for the Dixie National Tour early in March. I don't like going to far just to get killed in evo street prepared (BSP), but we'll see. My 350z is severely outgunned outside of regional level events.

  17. Welcome....I've been following your blog/observations for years. In fact I started to check it religiously towards the end of my undergrad at WVU. It was always shocking to see what a little elevation would do. Our little dusting turned into a foot up there. Again, Welcome!
