  1. No I don’t, but whatever.... Let’s all watch from the upper deck as Jimmy experiences an outer rain band or two. Such a thrill.
  2. Even if you have a genny (mine crapped out on me have to get a new one) it’s still not the same and quite uncomfortable. And I like being comfortable. Yes Wolfie, talk about a cluster of high clouds off west coast of Africa...please discuss.
  3. In fact, if there is a TOR in the vicinity I am driving away from it...not chasing it. I know I am in the minority, but almost being struck by lightning and experiencing a TOR, I violently hate warm season severe weather. Never had a knack for it to begin with, but that sealed the deal.
  4. Exhausting here too...yes, that is correct. I can give two shits about it. I’m not wiz that gets all wet in my undies over a darkening cloud. That is my point, I don’t like severe weather...honestly. Snow or coc, nothing else excites me.
  5. What is your point? You’re saying if a hurricane is nearby why wouldn’t you want to be in it?...and my answer is....no, I would not. YOU are giving me a choice lol.
  6. It was and my point is, I don’t enjoy damage. I don’t enjoy being without power, without water. Call me crazy...I like to take a shit and flush the toilet, take a shower, and use electronics. Sure watching interesting weather unfold is cool to track or see...from afar... but that’s it.
  7. No, I don’t want to experience it all. Why is that so hard to understand?
  8. You and Ditty, both weird. I spent months cleaning up after May 18 EF1, never again no thanks.
  9. Yup. I hate damage imby and feel sympathetic to those who have to suffer through it. Sure it’s part of our weenie nostalgia but that doesn’t mean I hope for it. I have like 5/6 trees I want to cut down....just need to find time and get some friends to help.
  10. Jimmy....But what if you watch the Patties loose AND you miss out on weather history?
  11. Yea, uninstall and pop the champagne.
  12. Yea, that area is gold for interior ULL swings. If the 500mb low isn’t over the BM, it’s usually over my head rotting pivots for them. There was March 2016 too Freak...where Stowe got 50”? That area west of ALB put up 30 spots as well. Growing up in NJ in the 80s and 90s, missing every big winter storm, all I saw on TWC was upstate NY getting crushed over and over again. Earlier this decade they’ve been relatively screwed as we’ve seen EMA cash but you can see past couple winters the big interior snows start to return.
  13. August has been special. Notice how ‘they’ can’t even argue it anymore. And Septembers tend to be my favorite warm month...can still be relatively hot without the oppressive feel to it. Coc days also tend to pop up very often.
  14. That’s why there’s a separate thread for you to disrobe over eye walls in the atlantic.
  15. Devastating situation for Grand Bahama with how it practically stalls over the island.
  16. It will be but further S track the euro depicts ain’t much better for you.
  17. July was not that bad. There were great weekends sprinkled in, and it was dry. Much easier to deal then July 18 especially second half of constant dews and monsoon rains. This month has been memorable though. Couldn’t draw the coc any bigger or better.
  18. We need winter, fast. Micro analyzing an Aug rain event is driving me up a barb wired flag pole, naked.
  19. It’s going to be a very emotional cold season.
  20. Yea you’re better off letting nature do it’s thing then. Don’t worry, plenty of 34F rain coming this winter. Hang in there....
  21. Of course, I’m in agreement there. But 4” of rain after a multiple week dry spell is not optimal either. Obviously, if you put so much effort into it, a custom irrigation system has to be part of any future projects.
  22. Are you growing a rainforest? An inch of rain is perfect, you never want to flood new plants.
  23. Man I wish I had that uncanny ability to mehlt my way to victory.
