  1. Glad you have a have a woman by your side again.
  2. Yea...my round yesterday, yikes. Sometimes I feel like I regress. 43 on front which is pretty good considering a slope 147, but the back just a complete meltdown until I rescued myself on 17 and 18. I dunno, just haven’t played enough nor practiced last two seasons esp this year to get going. Down for a gtg. The Ranch would be a good spot as someone mentioned but maybe better off next spring?
  3. Luckily no one seriously injured with the lightning strike. Poor job by East Lake and PGA officials not clearing the course early enough.
  4. I’ve had some awful years when I was playing more (spending more) before I had kids. Frustrating, especially if you’re super competitive with yourself. It’s a benefit to take a break, regroup. During breaks...I’ll watch more videos especially over winter and just work on body and weight shift movements in the mirror. We tend to forgot the hands and club are the last piece of the puzzle, not the first. Once I understood that, even during poor stretches, I improved and could bounce back quicker.
  5. Playing Pound Ridge this Sunday. Anyone in the area knows how hard this Pete Dye course is, especially for a 12 HC...I’ll have my hands full. Haven’t played much this season with a newborn so I’m going in with zero expectations. Pray.
  6. I can’t stand Reed but that was a great final round not many outside the golfing world watched. Crowd at Liberty National seemed thin too.
  7. Everyone is better off tracking siberian snow cover.
  8. Or one that backs up to a private course.
  9. I have a 60 degree wedge for the 50-70 yard shots but it’s obv a high trajectory. The soft pitches at those distances with a PW...not easy, agree.
  10. Did you guys see the Sergio video of him throwing his driver at his caddy during the Open? Another reason why I can’t stand that tool. From the “eating a bucket of fried chicken” comment about Tiger to milking his Master’s victory a full year later as if he is a dominant player. Dude has missed every cut at a Major since then lol. What a baby biatch.
  11. Makes me feel better at least. I have shit soil and minimal crab. You had landscapers dump loam and hydro seed, and you’re fighting it? I dunno...I’d be pissed.
  12. Impressive no doubt. Just not a good final round for fans. Brutal weather and a no brainer victory.
  13. Boring final round. No way Lowry chokes now. Onto the fedex cup.
  14. Fans generally like the guy who doesn’t look like a prototypical golfer but instead more like a guy you drink beer with. Lowry’s short game is pretty nasty. You should only choke once in a major...the second time, there’s no excuse.
  15. I like Rose. Rahm won on the euro tour last week with a 4 shot shot deficit going into the final round. I think he’s turning the corner on his mental game. Still don’t think it’s enough to win it this week but I was getting great odds for a top 10 players. I’m liking Fleetwood this week more and more.
  16. Rory is done so is Tiger. Koepka beasting another major, what a player.
  17. I like all majors, pga the least though. Open can be boring sometimes...not sure why. This course will be a tough test. I have Rahm winning it.
  18. How much did the irrigation system cost you?
  19. I try not to let it get too high maybe to 6” max and mow at 4 so it depends on the weather on how often. I alternate the ‘angles of attack’ every mow to get the criss cross look too. I wish I had a pic from last year, yuck, to show the big improvement.
  20. Big difference compared to last year when I had the trees down in the front and a weed infested first growing season. Acidic soil slowly being raised. Getting dry though but I don’t water, let nature do it’s thing:
  21. The previous owner had red mulch everywhere, I was so angry....two seasons in and it’s gone now. Replaced with Some decorative rocks and some mulch.
  22. Koepka faded at the end. A tick better and the pressure would of been on Woodland but instead....he was able to play more freely 16-18 after being nerved 11-15 when Koepka was charging. Rose was a let down, terrible iron play. Nevertheless, a good open where the usga was not a factor for once.
  23. Intense....Woodland starting to feel the jitters, the pressure.
