  1. I don’t have FB but the wife is on the SBury page, cringeworthy at times. If you ever come across Gary on there just toss his posts as far as a GGEM day5 blizzard...that’s my neighbor lol.
  2. Careful. Some on the Southbury FB group loves conspiracy theories. Could be aliens?
  3. Clean that shed’s roof dude. Looks pretty mossy.
  4. This is the first year I really don’t mind a ratter. Though it better be a 50F and dry ratter and not a 35F rainer.
  5. And it looks to continue...we’ll have a cool shot mid month though.
  6. Studies say otherwise: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.livescience.com/amp/covid-19-superspreading-venues-restaurants.html CDC on masks: https://www.cnn.com/2020/11/10/health/masks-cdc-updated-guidance/index.html
  7. They actually showed up to the game and put up a fight but that speaks more to how weak the Pats really are.
  8. It’s in some of our minds whether we want to admit or not. It’s a Weenie superstition I enjoy figuring out in real time to see if it has any legs. I get the historical data but I want to see for myself ha.
  9. It was hot today. I think the dews were down in the 40s but still broke a sweat doing leaves. It’s pretty interesting how the body got used to the cold shot where today felt like summer when it’s probably more spring like. Or maybe I’m just getting old so I’m more sensitive to big swings.
  10. We will struggle especially S of Pike. It’s been bad stretch but it is what it is.

  12. True but at least they have a W from a forfeitted game tonight.
  13. Which is why the courts agreed they are not a news organization.
  14. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/nov/09/what-has-pfizers-covid-vaccine-trial-found-and-is-this-a-breakthrough How excited should we be? Most experts agree that the results are exciting and excellent news, but the optimism should come with a note of caution: the results are preliminary, have been shared only by press release, and the trials are not yet complete. So far, 38,955 people have received two doses of the vaccine, and the team plan a further analysis of the results once a total of 164 confirmed Covid-19 cases have occurred among the participants. They will also follow participants for two years post-vaccination to explore long-term safety and whether it continues to provide protection.
  15. I have a hard time seeing people who believe in science and the severity of the virus to suddenly say no to a vax. It’s the people who don’t believe in science, the virus, are anti-vaccine...that will be the issue.
  16. Why is it ‘sad’ too? What a strange fella that guy is.
  17. No. You’re not listening. I have issues with pfizer at a personal level. Stop making assumptions that I am calling out every company making a vax.
  18. True. My dad worked at the Brooklyn plant for a decade before it closed and he got sick. Yes, we want to get past this asap but let science and a rigorous approval process dictate it...and not press release But I never acused them of rushing it, did I? All I said is they are a shady corp based on past history so I’ll remain skeptical until the approval process takes shape. If it goes through and it’s all good, I’m in.
  19. Not trusting a big pharma corp that has had several lawsuits against them, rolled out some awful drugs in the past, and my dad worked for them before he passed...is not conjecturing. I’ll wait until an independent fda review approves any vaccine before I inject it. Just me though.
  20. Eff Pfizer. They are shady AF. I’ll wait until all the data comes out.
