  1. Congrats to the locations with pavement accums.
  2. Big fatties now. Can we make this a common occurrence Dec-Mar please.
  3. Yea. In town was just wet and I’m just up the hill past exit 15 at 600’ and we look more like the 2nd pic. Early and late season marginal systems will do that around here.
  4. We are raising robotic soldiers: Must.Meet.Ciriculum.By.This.Date. First real snow day I’m keeping my boy out to rip sledding. IDGAF.
  5. Been going pretty well here the past hour with a coating on grass and leaves. Yea, my son wanted to go sledding already lol...”not on mud bud.”
  6. Changing over now. Doubt it accums much though.
  7. Drain and protect: URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service New York NY 329 PM EDT Thu Oct 29 2020 CTZ005>007-011-012-NYZ068-079-081-300930- /O.NEW.KOKX.FZ.A.0003.201031T0000Z-201031T1400Z/ Northern Fairfield-Northern New Haven-Northern Middlesex- Southern Middlesex-Southern New London-Putnam- Northeastern Suffolk-Southeastern Suffolk- 329 PM EDT Thu Oct 29 2020 ...FREEZE WATCH IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY EVENING THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING... * WHAT...Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 24 possible. * WHERE...In Connecticut, Northern Fairfield, Northern New Haven, Northern Middlesex, Southern Middlesex and Southern New London Counties. In New York, Putnam, Northeastern Suffolk and Southeastern Suffolk Counties. * WHEN...From Friday evening through Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...Freezing conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. To prevent freezing and possible bursting of outdoor water pipes they should be wrapped, drained, or allowed to drip slowly. Those that have in-ground sprinkler systems should drain them and cover above- ground pipes to protect them from freezing.
  8. Thataboy. Hope all goes well and you get relief. Should be a fresh morning for most. Accums or not, snow flying in the pre season is just fine.
  9. Nothing that a little HGH can’t fix. T-2” has been the theme for CT from S to N. Enjoy.
  10. Yea...that’s low for that part of town so while the weenie may not be thrilled with it, but as long as the weenie’s wife enjoys it.
  11. I’m going under. T-2”. What’s your elevation over there?
  12. I was just enjoying the dilf vs milf tussle.
  13. Yea T-2” from south to north. I can see the hills get a legit 2-3” where it looks like winter. The further south it’s more just snow in the air.
  14. Sticking with T-2” with not much actual accums on pavement. Maybe the grass and leaves turn a little white...great success.
  15. Not like it’s Jan 8th. I mean...an inch of rain on warmish ground followed by 1-2” of modelled snow. Like, that 1-2” melted probably just coats up the grassy knolls. Not like the plows will be out or maybe they will be...scraping pavement slush again. They do that very well.
  16. Probably won’t accumulate much unless it flash freezes though?
  17. It supposedly will stop being covered in 7 days if all goes well so there’s that at least. If you don’t cover it, it doesn’t exist. Like racism. But Hopefully you guys won’t do remote learning until spring though. It’s hard on everyone especially for the underpaid teaching profession. GL.
  18. You always have been but you don’t melt...you just vanish from the board for a few days until the next shortwave in Mongolia is sampled.
  19. Hard to reverse black holes mid season too. Last year it took until early spring. I’m good with it being moderate and just swinging to both sides within slight deviations. Normal will do.
