  1. Don’t get the cheap one size fits all kind either. They fall off too easily. If you can, customize it.
  2. Seriously. I look around and see homes with leaves, sticks, and debris bursting from gutters and I cringe. For a few hundred bucks, it's a piece of mind. Some folks spend money to have them cleaned out fairly regularly too.
  3. Get gutter screens man...screens. Makes life so much easier.
  4. Anyone who does their shopping in Dec and especially the week before Xmas are in for repetitive frustration. My wife has been buying the kids presents (which are usually made in Asia) since Sept. I told her not to wait until ‘deals’. Speaking of which…there may not be as many great deals this season either. Retailers use it to get folks into their store, virtual or brick and mortar, but the thin inventory and lack of backfilling will make some rethink their holiday marketing strategy and not offer the usual discount. It won’t be the case across all product types so there will be deals to be had but folks should be prepared to not expect a normal shopping season…and plan accordingly.
  5. Folks should do their xmas shopping before BF imo. Inventory is at an all time low, depending on product type of course, with demand sky high…BF and the following 3wks will be a zoo with slim pickings. I foresee a record amount of gift cards being exchanged this year instead, signed: “I couldn’t find your gift, get it yourself in the summer.”
  6. Can you put it back in so the flow can slow down?
  7. Dry leaves are optimal to blow or pick up. Nothing worse then a soggy ground with leaves planted firmly which is what Saturday could be. If you haven’t done the initial cleanup before the rains, I’d wait to do it after a few dry days.
  8. My parents came to America with just their shirts on their backs when they were 30. Didn’t know a lick of english. They became homeowners in 10yrs and worked in and around the house non stop…taking care of what they’ve accomplished. My brother and I learned at a young age to work for it, take care of it, and appreciate it. It’s all I know, it’s how I’m built…and I enjoy it.
  9. Does he have the tarp out for them? Lol.
  10. Looks great homie. I actually did some before I left this morning but I’m heading home now to finish the job.
  11. Ha. Like on the 18th green eyeing up a putt with the putter head high looking for the break…
  12. There’s usually not that big of a difference between the shoreline and 84 this time of the year. You’ll typically see the color delayed there compared to here but they look like late summer compared to late fall, here.
  13. The house on the left is our old house…so yes, the May18 EF1 traversed from right to left there. Impressive you could see that.
  14. Sawing down an annoying tree purges the soul. Take it down!
  15. Ha. Those bags could be worth something though. Who the eff would have those these days? She could be the only one ha.
  16. There has been high turnover at the Blue with several employees gone missing.
  17. When you pros talk about dynamic s/w’s, do you gather that from UL vorticity? Like h7 cyclonic vorticity maps?
  18. Let’s hope a wind storm knocks it down someday.
  19. As long as the outlook is done…everything else is secondary.
  20. I use a lawn sweeper so the downside of that is if you have too many leaves, you’ll barely make one stripe before you have to empty it. Instead, with a light coating of leaves, I can fly around with a couple trips to empty it and be done in 30mins.
