    I measure on my back deck before I clear it (sometimes every 2-3hrs depending on storm) and I have a steeply pitched roof so not an exact science for sure. Sure felt like an 16-18” storm when the kids and dogs played in it yesterday though…

    KJU did whenever he felt like shoveling. He got 16-20” measurements in the backyard to spot checking the 18.75” total from clearing. . Roof assisted? Possible…but no way to know. Make it 17” for your records to match @Spanks45if you prefer but he lives in the valley with first part of storm being warm I probably accumulated before him. my book is confirmed and closed at 18.75” though lol.
