So I posted this in the MA Banter thread but thought someone here might have some suggestions too. I'm looking to go to Gravelly Point possibly this Friday, I enjoy watching the planes come in and remember doing this as a kid. After that I plan on visiting the Lincoln Memorial and/or the International Spy Museum, and maybe finishing up at The Wharf for some grub. My expected arrival down would be maybe 9-10am. Any thoughts on parking and best way to get to the other points of interest? Not fond of the metro/subway and would prefer to drive and park, or even walk to stated locations. Thanks for any advice/suggestions.

I think if I recall correctly Floyd was more of a one day event where it appears this is maybe more a 2 part rain event, which may help it not to be a Floyd situation, side note that was the day we now (me) found out about having twins at 35 weeks. A memorable day for sure.

Tempest said about a .25" for a 10 minute rain storm, have to wait till I get home to read the gauge. Temp dropped quite a bit.

Not a whole lot over here, but I'll take my .12" and be happy. Every bit helps.

Yeah, kind of busier over summer, Monday evenings are usually the slower night.

LOL, that's true especially if you aren't sitting close by.

It's a hot one down here, had 3 walks already from the market to the Smorg to handle some matters. Lunch was busy, and we had several buses here. If you have to wait from just outside the door depending on when you arrive, it's about 20 minutes

Pea sized hail in New Holland, more of a storm than Monday “tornado” warning was under.

Thanks, I think the cloud cover actually helped with not having it blasted out.

Not gonna lie, how about a standard IPhone 14 Pro just zoomed in. No filter, shocked how it came out.

When we stayed, we went to Pop Music and Sports, many years ago and I agree the rooms were small, but I've always said I don't go to Disney to stay in the rooms, I just need a place to crash with the kids. Hope you had good weather.

That’s great if I tried, but yeah we can go with the double meaning!

Unrelated to weather, but huge fire in Ephrata, Martins Country Market up in flames and over 60 units on scene. Fire broke through containment wall and now Martin's Furniture is fully engulfed. Sad they just did a million dollar renovation.
