  1. Record rains in the Sahara, torrential downpours in areas that receive <1" a year. Yeah that's where the rain went.
  2. Next week we soar deep into the 80's for a long stretch as we begin second summer on a crispy dry dead landscape.
  3. Likely to pull off my first at least that I can remember 30 days with <1" of rain
  4. Must be rare to see a drought squashed then return two months later but it's happening
  5. See any flames licking out of the ground as we descend into hell?
  6. Pond here is down to maybe one foot of water. Old timers say it's never been dry. Lawn is 50% brown and yellow which is crazy because it was lush green only a week ago from the 3.50" rain the first two weeks in August. GFS is down to a .25" shower chance Saturday and it looks dry forever after that this us nuts.
  7. I think we already had one of those back in July and it underperformed west of I95. Could be wrong.
  8. The lawn is covered in brown and some yellow crunchy Black Walnut leaves can't say this has happened so early before.
  9. Guidance is down to a .25" or less for the weekend. Next two weeks are dry too not out of the realm of possibilty to see <.50" in 30 days some places
  10. 98% of the state today is dry as a bone Terrible meso model fail yesterday
  11. Trace Cancelled tomorrows plans then guidance immediately swung dry
  12. How about tomorrow morphing from a zero or 20% chance of shower day to 40%. Heck the NAM's are gung ho wild and have off and on showers all day now. When you have one week and two other days of plans all drought summer long and it finds a way to rain most of that week and on those two days..
  13. Looking grim the only legit shower chances are Saturday night models have around .50". After that it's over and we need Albedo drought guy to lead us like Moses from this desert to the land of milk and honey&rain.
  14. August Pocono mountains .5F below normal, no heat island there Sellersville +.8F Phoenixville +.4F Doylestown +.6F Go figure Allentown's having a cool month -1.9F yet Reading -.1F
  15. Philly has 14 days above normal after today this month and is only a few tenths below normal for the month maybe only -0.1F after tomorrow Wow what a "cool" month, then consider it's adjusted to the new 20 year norm
  16. If anything they should adjust for globular warming and open a week later
  17. Saturday was just as hot as Sunday this is a non 90F heat wave
