This is the coldest mild winter I have ever felt. When is the last time it hit 50F Christmas? No 50's and yet January is +3F, and December was +2F with snow cover here of near 10 days.

Not with near two months of +PNA, and good stretches of -AO and -NAO. This could be a special kind of fail. Now of course if there is a MECS the last week of January all is forgiven.

Tried looking at the triple conjunction- clouds. Mostly sunny and mostly clear forecast and nothing but clouds all day. Wtf.

I'm worried the SSW event is going to screw us in February, and instead of much above normal temps we end up with record 33F rain.

Was suppose to be like last winter the analogs aren't worth a damn. Take away the one December lucky storm this would be on par with the chilly wet miserable winter of 2012.
