@Damage In Tolland @JC-CT Went down to the Wendy's on Talcottville Rd.
Looking at the height of the plow banks and the cuts snowblowers have made there's not a doubt in my mind that EOR got at least a foot.
I'm wondering if the lack of measurements here has to do with blowing and drifting.
I do believe the cutoff is sharp back towards I-91. However if did snow there, as well as here, until about 9 PM.
The RAP has been slowly ticking slower and deeper with the low for the past several cycles. And even then, the outcome might be slightly west of it because it keeps initializing with the trough not as amped.
If the SPC mesoanalysis maps are to be believed, when comparing actual hour 0 to the latest RAP initialization, the RAP initialized with the SLP 2mb weaker and with a slightly broader trough.
I wouldn't change a thing if I were a TV met. I'd call for a general 6-12 statewide and say west of the river could see less than 6 and east of the river could see more than 12.
As a matter of principle, I will stick with my personal guess of 12-18 for I-91 on east.
