Long time lurker in New England thread with a few winter posts in NY. Not here to get triggered and yell at people with different opinions. I don't care if you want to wear a mask, or 25 masks. Vaccinated or not, this is America, make your own choice.
But what I do not like are companies mandating a non FDA proved vaccine. These companies better have good insurance if someone is forced to take the jab and have a bad reaction (its rare but anything can happen).
Other then that, I always laugh at the Dews and Stein topics. Being I finally bit the bullet and responded here, you'll probably see me chime in from time to time now

Another year, another tropical storm having us in the "red cone on uncertainty". Impacts shouldnt be that major, but a major feat seeing every year recently we were in the cone

Nobody in this sub forum cares but after coming back from a 3-1 series deficit to beat Toronto, the Habs took game 1 against the Jets tonight. Let’s go Habs!
Man did Evans pay the ultimate price for that empty net goal. Take a hit to make a play. Unfortunately he might be done. To me, it was a clean hit, didnt break any rules. But it broke the code. Either way, they suspend of not, Scheifle will probably have to answer the bell from Weber

This rain is making me unhappy
Thought it wasn't supposed to rain? Hoping it holds off because I put down some Scotts Weed and Feed this morning. If it rains it will wash it away

Glad and hoping this models.keep the accumulating snow away. Who the hell wants all that paste on tree already budding. Limbs down and power outages , no thanks

These ensembles are making it depressing looking at next couple weeks. Bunch of sh*t weather possibly coming. Feels like November getting the last nice fall day and looking at a long miserable cold stretch to wait for spring

Just put some bug and grub killer down in lawn. Granules need to be soaked in, rain should take care of that tomorrow

only problem is the former seem to be happening more and more frequently.
Based on the SST patterns, we could get hit by the tropics again this year.
Depends on how strong the SE Ridge is, if it's really strong than the SST wont matter because it still steer TC to our SW.
Looking at 11 yr patterns 1944, 1955, and 1999 all had east coast major hits.
Based on a really strong SE Ridge this summer, I'd look for late season hits September and maybe even later, rather than the early season ones we saw last summer. The above 11 yr patterns were like that.
I've noticed past several summers, maybe even a decade, that forecasted summer squall lines do not hold up that well here, exception for the May 2019 line that spun a tornado a few miles away and knocked out my power for days. Other than that, I get my worst thunderstorms in the "popcorn" scenario.
The previous years of cyclone tracks is worrisome. Unless something major changes in Atlantic, kind of hard to bet against the same tracks as past couple years

Think it hit 70 here. Just went on a walk with wife and dog. Everyone else had the same idea. Felt great to be out and everyone else seemed so happy. Get rid of the winter sadness

Just went for a walk with wife and dog. Definitely need spring weather. Walking in cold, seeing trees with no leaves, grass dormant is just a depressing look. Give me 70s, sun, green vegetation and a beer
