    hr 21 that low over Arkansas is 3 mb weaker than 18z maybe that will help.

    Just a few hours later it's snowing good though and the run looks better than 18z.

    Nothing like a good ole 50+ degree snowstorm, the latest hrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr is running a little on the warm side.

    I don't know much about the ICON, but that sucker has been rock stead on its output, it's either really right or really wrong!

    Still a pretty big difference between RGEM and 12km NAM, here's hr 36 and hr 39.

    The High over the NE built in a touch further south this run compared to 12z. Just small details at this point not really much more to go off of.

    Actually trended a here further south and looked a little weaker.

    That low in TN is killing us.

    Seems like the biggest trend is the low over TN wants to hang on longer which is wrecking the midlevels. Then the energy jumps to the east when the low takes over on the coast. Maybe I missing something but this can't be good.

    At least it improved from 12z lol!

    That energy in TN seems to be ramping up more and more each run, I think that has cause it to slow down some and separate from the front end thump.

    Out to hr 48 and Euro looks more in line with RGEM and Canadian.

    UKMET shifts heaviest snowfall right up against the escarpment.

    I wouldn't give up on this one just yet, but anything frozen to me right now will be a win.

    Catawba County as well.

    The 12z trend is to cut totals on eastern edge and move heaviest accumulations right up the escarpment from NE GA into VA

    SREF plumes for Hickory are a little over 2". I expect an advisory for 1-2 here with maybe 1/2" of sleet and honestly that would be great if we could pull that off.
