    Got my flu shot and a shingles vaccine (never thought about the latter until a good friend who is 34 years old got raked last week - one look at him and CVS and I had an immediate double date!)

    If you want my idea for winter - I'll share it with you privately. I'm not overly optimistic way down here, though up your way and a bit north, it could be nice (in a nutshell).

    This is real prelim, but if you're still around and care --- my initial is a normal SE winter with one big 1983 or '85 0r '89 arctic shot, and an early spring - by mid-Feb. I'll update once I have more data.

    Hey!

    This isn't going to be pretty in Florida if the recent runs are right. Too much coastal development and not enough major roads (I-95 is not designed to get people inland), largely inhabited by folks that have never seen a 'Cane (transplants, and the fact that storms typically leave the stretch of shoreline alone).

    Hey - Just finished listening to the Alpine Valley link you sent. Thanks! Fabulous. My wife even enjoyed it though she swore off Alpine Valley in '82 after a bad dose of circumstance (wasn't saintly, either); last show she went to was Tampa '94 and the rednecks were so bad she left ... me - I'd still be truckin' if Jerry were around or they'd get Tre A. on the bus again....
