  1. So now that anyone outside of imo 4K feet is out of play…. Does anyone else enjoy the tracking/Chase more than the actual event or is that just me? I love the anticipation of a model run, the highs/Lows ect lol then the event comes and goes and it’s like mehhh what do I do now lol

  2. Ah see.. you gotta watch out for the method and ratios. I’m assuming you used the standard 10:1. This stuff is gonna be like concrete coming out of a mixer like 3:1 maybe 6:1 at the end as some colder air could mix down. Kuchera also helps and if you pull that up you’ll notice a huge difference.

Still as long as I get to “see” some I’m good

  3. It's not just the NAM showing this though. The high res GFS fv3, HRRR, and canadian. Only the highest peaks may get 6+ out of this and that's even questionable.

Yes, this actually looks pretty realistic….. as good as mountains are for CAD help, they will absolutely Shred the “Death Band” if it doesn’t form perfectly and scoot under it thru the upstate it will just be wrung out like a summer time band from TN

Time to lock the thread. This just sucks and there is no other way to say it. Our last hope vaporized almost immediately after this thread was created.

not trying to be an ass.... but EYE no offense it was never a triangle thing anyway , and why lock the thread ? you can just not open it , certainly still a possibility for anyone along and W/NW of 77. I mean i get the discouragement but enough with this garbage man youre better than this

  5. ik its verbatim but 12k still looks decent on paper somehow must be the backend thump, idk didnt look hard im at work shouldnt even be here lol ...... for what its worth 3K was pretty equal at 60hrs (end of its run) placement wise, 3K may have been 25-30 miles further east but no big deal

18z GFS is much further south and a hair slower. If you live from Augusta to greenwood to Charlotte, 18z is about as good as you can ask for

EXACTLY CLT metro atleast on paper was the winner there so track looks fine the rest will take care of itself as Tiger said

  7. Good, then why are you still here trolling everybody else? I don't want to see any posts from you when there is a valid threat. Also, I don't appreciate being called a weenie for remembering that it's still January...... SMH.

Yea not being an Ass Gray, but it’s like you Copy n Paste the same whining Comment ANYTIME there’s even something to remotely even type about in here…. Plus man not being mean, but even in a good winter you’re in a Bad Spot Climo wise that’s just the way it is, it sucks but none of us can control the weather …. If we could it wouldn’t be any fun imo
