yep up to 101 here now....this seems unexpected, werent they saying heat indices would stay in the mid 90s mt holly is calling for 90 or above through at least next Tuesday for our area so this could be a 9-10 day heatwave...quite rare for June

Mt holly snipped a few degrees off from earlier today where they were foreasting 98-100 from Tuesday to Friday in my parts but still Monday Sunny, with a high near 90. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Monday Night Mostly clear, with a low around 66. South wind 5 to 10 mph. Tuesday Sunny, with a high near 95. Southwest wind around 5 mph. Tuesday Night Mostly clear, with a low around 67. South wind around 5 mph becoming calm after midnight. Juneteenth Sunny, with a high near 96. Wednesday Night Mostly clear, with a low around 69. Thursday Mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 97. Thursday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 70. Friday Mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 98. Friday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 72. lawns are holding up but i am seeing some of that dryness a bit.....looks like several chances of rain this week especially Thursday so I think we wont have to worry too much. I hate wet patterns so its been pretty good the past couple months where we get some rain but not excessive amounts

what will be the deal with the beaches on Saturday/Sunday. Wind can make a big difference. Which day should be the warmer one at the beaches. I hate being on a beach being chilly while its low 80s in the parking lot

Looks like summer is coming...80 degree temps to start the week with 70s toward the end but we will see if we can break the awful weekends trend

I remember this storm well. We got 8-9 inches. Incredibly cold and windy day.
