  1. finally...Ive been waiting for this...a pox on this stupid wet crap everyday..it ruined summer this year
  2. another busted forecast...last Sunday and now today, two days the met said were not going to be beach days and would feature clouds with a chance of showers...they are killing business down the shore because of these bad forecasts.. Had more sun today than the last two days thats for sure
  3. I guess you were not paying attention the last few Septembers, we have no idea if that was the worst..highs only topped out at 96 for 3 days, we can easily pass that
  4. are we going to have summer this year? Is September the new June? When will we have our first heatwave?
  5. Pretty good and mainly hot summery weather from May on...had that blip for about 10-12 days in late May/early June but other than that it was full steam ahead
  6. A sneaky extended heatwave for the lucky ones
  7. So close today but most missed out on the 2nd heatwave
  8. 12 for me now. Hot summer for sure
  9. interesting...and some places have an outside shot of yet another 3 day heatwave Wed-Fri depending on cloud cover
  10. well the Park is not representative of the area as a whole...I mean I and many others hit 90 plus 3-4 times last week and some mid 90s as well. Redo those stats with New Brunswick or Newark and its been quite hot the entire month save for a couple of cooler days last week
  11. haha Ive heard that before, many people were saying after the first July heatwave that it really wasnt going to be that hot the rest of the month
  12. there may be some as early as Monday
  13. Somerville airport reported 90 today according to weather.gov
  14. ive hit 90 4 days in a row so its a nice moderate heatwave IMBY
  15. you were right all along...good call, 8 inches here, thats one of the higher around central jersey, we did good with this one

  16. the cut off from the NAM model has consistently given the heaviest to the east of Somerset County. I think its much like the same setup with the last storm where everything was to our east. I have measured 1/2 inch heaviest bands seem to not be over us for some reason. Goldberg is good but Id go with the low ends of his total. 4-8 better range...why are you on a ban?
