    I pretty much was just looking at the precip, mainly from the early stuff. Who knows, still got some time to move that band.

    Right on cue the Euro shifts the WAA precip 100 miles north and cuts precip here by 60%. Easy to predict

    I haven’t found a model yet that has improved. Maybe that’s a good thing. Save the improvement for close in. Kind of a Jan 2000 sort of thing.

    Not sure when I’ve ever seen a model show chance after chance like the gfs just did. There’s real potentially there. I’d even say potential for a remarkable run. Wave after wave rolling to our south with cold available

    This winter reminds me so much of 96-97 when the cold would simply not come south and east. Look at the temp maps for the northern us and southern Canada at 120-144 hours. There is cold nearby. It just won’t move.

    Hoping the euro adds some positivity and clarity because I’d say the early 12z models have trended slightly the wrong way. One thing I’m hoping is that this system can lay down some snow along the Ohio River which in turn might help slow this cutter train a bit.
