Yeah the topography of California is impressive but for me it’s the latitude changes. If you placed the southern border at Norfolk Va the northern border would be at a latitude equivalent to Houlton Maine

Its 32 here tonight. I just said to myself earlier “it won’t snow tonight because it’s too warm”. Hate when that happens.
Imagine living about 2 miles away and getting almost nothing. Yeah that’ll make a season alright. Just like the March 09 storm did for our season here in Winchester.
Ok thanks but the way I read that is that it gives me the pressure level at the elevation where I’m located. I was wondering for example what the elevation of say the 850 level was. Just as an example.
