Not really .Have said for days that this period looks interesting. We just need that boundary in they right place. It would help my confidence if the Euro didn’t look like mid May.

Models aren’t a fraud. We’ve known for a week that there was going to be a storm tomorrow and Friday. Doubt we could accurately know that without them.

I’ve tried to remain hopeful but I’m pretty much resigned to the fact that if we get a decent snow, and that’s a big if, that it’s gonna come in late Feb early March and it’s gonna be one of those deals where it’s 75 three days later. This winter is almost at a point where it can’t be saved from a failing grade. Not there yet but getting very close.

This winter reminds me a lot of 1996-1997. I mentioned that winter earlier this year. Never will forget all that cold dumping into the Rockies and it would not move East. The gfs does that very thing at about 192 hours.

Could be simply slowing it down. I think that would be a good thing. Seems to me the euro was quicker than most of the other guidance.
