Yeah they might be a accurate within a couple of days. You take it out to 10 and I doubt they are hardly ever remotely accurate.

I actually think the gfs starts to look at least plausible in about a week. Youve got a narrow stripe of below normal heights butting up against above normal. Seems to me that might provide an opportunity for a little system to run into some colder air.

The MJO forecasts have been a little off the past few days. The current wave is advancing faster than the models are predicting. I wonder if we might see an abrupt shift in the long range because of it. Grasping

It wasn’t too bad. There was snow around Christmas, and I had over 20” in March but don’t remember much in between. Its also the year @Bob Chill threatened to bring a flamethrower to my yard

Maybe you could gripe somewhere else. The lack of snow may depress you but that doesn’t in turn give you the right to try and depress others. We have a bitching thread. Perhaps use one of those. If not, maybe one of our mods @mappy, @H2O, @stormtracker would be so kind as to either 5 post or no post you.
