Still on the subject of DT. He called that window last week well before it happened. Then it kinda disappeared for a bit before it came roaring back. I don’t mind listening to him even if the models don’t show your yard getting two feet.

Place me in the euro camp. IMO there will be no low on a front. There will be a low dragging a front through. We will get warmer than forecast in front of it, it will rain, the front will come through, the wind will exceed expectations, the temps will fall short of modeled lows. This is not the type of setup we have much of a chance with.

The place where I could see a positive bust would be like the situation we had Monday. We had snow at elevations about 1000 feet higher here in Winchester. The ridges above that got at least a couple of inches while here we had mangled flakes for hours during heavy precip. Knock 3 degrees off those surface temps and a nothing event ends up as a 3” or more snow.

LOL yes I know. I usually search for your posts here. It’s how I know what’s going on. I was more saying I’m exhausted looking ahead after this last storm so I’m keeping my lights on low beam.
