Above is a quick shot my wife sent of hail today. Can't make it any longer cause of size restraints. The front of the grass there is where the dog continually goes the bathroom so that is why it's all messed up. Nice and green everywhere else lol

since I got home at 3 it has been snowing, not accumulating much but still some snow on the ground from yesterday.
-
I've got between 3 and 4 on the ground and it was still snowing pretty good when I left the house at 3 this morning

Dusting on the ground, lightly coming down now and windy

Flurries here at the moment, can't tell how much total has fallen these last couple of days due to the wind. Is about 4 inches fresh in some spots and just an inch in others. My outdoor thermometer is at 0.

nothing falling the last couple of hours but snowed most of the morning, white out conditions at times.
-
Got a little bit coming down again
-
Looks like an inch overnight here

Party is over. Cars are covered up with fresh white.

Anyone catch that fireball over VT or the noise last night!?
I had no idea what it was, at first thought it was fireworks very close by, but then the sound tailed off oddly like a crackling. I figured then it had to be an F-35 out of BTV flying low. I was walking the dog on the Rec Path in Stowe (right about the time I took that photo of snowpack in my previous post in this thread).
The dog freaked out, slipped her collar and started to run home. I got her to stop after the noise ended and she was just sitting in the Rec Path shaking.
I even text my wife about 15 minutes later when we got home. Auto-correct changed a couple things (we call our dog "the bean" but it sometimes changes it to a beanie hat) but that was crazy to find out it wasn't a fighter jet flying low, but a Meteor that entered the atmosphere over Mount Mansfield State Forest. It was loud!
I just happened to step outside, happened to be looking to my northwest and that thing flew by and fizzled out. I didn't hear any explosion but it was bright as hell. Just dumb luck timing on my part but cool to see.

Wow, that's a solid pickup from squalls--nice.
Nothing here but a dusting. NW winds just don't do much here, feel like MAYBE gusted to 40. Had no problem sleeping.
I was surprised to get that much, of course I can't be 100% sure because of the wind, but that was the constant across a wide area. It snowed a little in the morning, stopped and then started up again around 2:30 and was still going at 10 when I hit the sack.

Just had a pretty strong gust
-
Down to 12 degrees and looking like 3-4 inches
-
Snowing good right now, would call it a squall
-
Getting windy
-
Been snowing here for about an hour now
-
Wife says it's snowing at the house right now
-
Was 32 and some light snow when I got home at 4. Still snowing now but not adding up to hardly anything, looks like a half inch at most
-
About 2 inches so far today I'd guess
-
Snowing pretty good at the moment, around 12 degrees

The pull cord on my old one broke a week or 2 ago and the starter motor was giving me trouble. I decided that I didn't want to screw around anymore and got a new one. I have wanted one with a headlight and handwarmers so I broke down and spent the money. I hope I don't regret getting a 24" vs. the 26" I had but the reviews for the DR were pretty good and the features you get for $799 were worth a gamble.
Yes there comes a point where it is just time to go brand new. Between time and money spent working on a machine, it is nice to just go outside and fire it up. And it is nice to have something new for a change haha. I doubt you'll miss those 2 extra inches, you might not even notice if your hands are more comfortable.

Had a pretty steady light to about moderate rain for a couple hours today. Some thunder and lightning, I'd say just under 1/4" precipitation
