  1. Somewhere around 5 inches here, hard to tell with all the blowing. Some areas around the corners of the barn and shed can see grass since it's been whipping around so much. Still have snow falling at the moment but is small flakes. It's pretty windy outside.

Freezing rain and 31.8°. Deck is coated. My wife just came back from a neighbor’s up the road and said the roads are starting to get a little icy.

Front porch and driveway had a coating here as well. Light snow has just begun and it is 29.

Just looked that up, very interesting. I do work with the Army and have dealt with the Army Corps of Engineers on some facility projects down south.

It's a pretty cool place, I enjoy working there. I actually work for the facilities maintenance there, I don't do the actual research projects.

Do you work in an ice cream factory?

Haha no but that was funny and got me laughing. I'm a federal employee, work at the cold regions research lab in Hanover, NH. It's run by the Army Corps of Engineers, lots of research experiments relating to the earth's cold climates.

Yeah my wife just sent a photo that looks like over an inch at least, ha.  At least it’s white.

I agree, looks much better with the blanket of white. I work at a place where there is snow and ice year round indoors, temperatures down to -60F or even lower. But there is something different about seeing it outside.

A couple full moon shots from the other evening in Stowe.  The last three days have been phenomenal for viewing the huge full moon...tonight's stratus layer at 3,000ft, not so much.

Great pictures. Love how bright the night sky is around here. Have actually been thinking of buying some books about constellations, planets, stuff like that which can be visible. I look up there and have no idea what I'm even looking at sometimes.

Everyone gets sick of excessive heat and humidity as they get older; I see them talking about it all the time in our main subforum threads.  With age, it just gets harder to handle extremes like that.

I can understand that as well. It can be draining at times, especially when the sun is so strong like it is around here in the summer.

Crisp there!  54F here now and 0.39” in the stratus gauge from today’s two rounds.  Slider doors shut, that time of year.

It is crispy out, can see my breath lol.  Love it.  I am becoming less and less of a summer person. I bet that'll change as I get older though.
