I had 8.5" on the ground at 4:30pm, so maybe 7.5" so far from this as I had about an inch already on the ground. Hardly snowing right now.

Delayed post? Lol. It’s Friday.
Woops haha. Thank you for the correction! Yes Friday.

I had about 3" from the first event and 1" of fluff yesterday. Currently snowing again (Thursday at 730pm).

Wow. I had about .25” today and we aren’t all that far apart as the crow flys.
I work down in Hanover and it rained almost all day down there, almost on the verge of heavy a couple of times. Maybe I was just far enough east to get some of that. The brooks are flowing pretty good.
-
When I got home today around 4 I had about 1.25" and it was 62 degrees

I'd say we've moved past peak here over the weekend. Still have some frozen water in my bucket in the shade from overnight and it's 2pm.

Wife called me outside today to tell me it was snowing. It was, but was probably the most lightest, smallest "flakes" possible. Still nice to see, even though had to squint to see it haha

Ended up with a tad over 3.25" here, just sprinkling right now. Amazing how fast everyone has put the summer clothes away for the fall attire.

Window units taken out :)

Steady light rain since about 6am, wasn't expecting that. Not showing anything on radar

Up to 1.41" here. Looking at the predictions on my phone app, I thought it would be about half that much. It's a good drink for those who need it. Just means I'm going to have to mow more.
Nice. I also wasn't expecting this much, but I will gladly take it. I was actually planning on mowing this afternoon cause I thought it was gonna stop this morning but has been going pretty much all day.

I am at exactly 1.75" for the rain today and yesterday
-
When I left for work at 3am I had a little over 2" so far, was nice to have a rainy late afternoon/evening
-
Right at 1.5" from the rain
-
Highest I saw yesterday was 84 and so far today 87.

I haven't installed our window unit yet but this morning feels like we might need it this weekend.
-
Were there any reports of frost last night? Came close here.

Wow, pretty quick drop to 59F by 9pm. You might be the coolest spot in NNE right now..or one of. Outside of some spot right on the water.
69F here.
I was surprised when I saw 59 on the thermometer. Whenever we get our first warm spell I am always worrying it's gonna be miserable lol. I really shouldn't be surprised though cause this specific location cools down so quickly.

81 when I got home at 4pm. Down to 59 at 9pm and I'm pretty surprised it cooled down so quickly. Got the windows open with box fan blowing in the night air. Hung out outside until dusk when little flying insects started getting too annoying. Weather-wise felt great though

80° at 4pm when i got home. Trees have progressed at lightning speed since this weekend

Large diurnal temperature ranges are the hallmark of great early warm season weather. The mountain valleys have been seeing consistent 20s at night this week, followed by 60s and 70s by day. Relative humidity's have been 10-20% at their lowest. This has led to snow preservation that's fairly good given the temperatures. Dry air like they have out west does preserve the snow... especially north or east facing aspects.
The east slope gets the afternoon shadows, while the south and west facing aspects take the solar brunt during the highest diurnal temperatures. It makes a big difference in the spring. Maximum solar exposure on these east slope areas are during the coldest diurnal time of day (sunrise and morning).
Beautiful picture. We started at 23 yesterday morning and around 4 we were at 66. My kids wanted to go inside because it was "too hot out" lol. That sun is strong right now.

I measured 16" this morning, heavy and wet so I'm guessing it was a little bit more with the compaction. Lost power at 11:30pm and just got it back at 11pm, just under 24 hours.
