Fall always might favorite season. Early Summer second. Mid summer is ok when there is some relief from Canada or the Lake. It has gotten a little chilly a couple times. After deer season and T-Day, then its just gets ugly. Some years right during deer season the ugly starts, like I believe this year is going to be one of them. As I've gotten older, winters are a bit harder to take when they get too snowy and bitter.

Very warm summer day with a bit of a lake breeze to keep it from sweltering. Get it while we can.

Finally back into the mid 70's today. Very nice, but was rather cool this morning in the upper 40's. A couple fall like days with a fall looking sky was a little disheartening, but summer resumes. Have to get what we can, not much time left.

Whopping 66 today with an am low of 48. Brisk weather for early August.

Starts mid November, but watch the Plains region in October. Wild stuff coming.

Well, this Labor Day weekend might not see much travel. Depends on what the SARS-COV-2 critters are doing, and how much freaking out is going on, but weather stops for no one. I figure I'd put out my forecast for that weekend to see if my modelling is good to go or not for then (before gov models reach that time frame). I have a front moving through our region that weekend, so expect mild temps and shwrs/stms turning much cooler with shwrs expected, especially in the northern areas, after the front goes through. Honestly, this seems to be a rather typical weather phenomena for this weekend, but that's what I'm seeing. Even in the many days prior to this weekend, the pattern is similar. So expect cooler weather beforehand.

It sure is going to be nice to start, but August will have some good storms for us as well. I'm expecting pretty good mixed bag this month. More of these big high's are not out of the question. Not expecting summer to linger this year into Sept very long, if at all. At least that is what my modelling suggests. But of course, I'm also much farther north than most in here.

About a decade I'd say. Still pluggin along. Doing good now. Still dabble in long range forecasts. Speaking of which, the start of Met Fall, will seem like the weather for the true Fall start on the equinox. Especially in my neck of the woods. A bit chilly with earlier than normal widespread frosts up here. Weather was so muggy this past weekend, but Sunday night, a Canadian front moved through with refreshing air. It's much nicer now. Not using a/c, so northern air is awesome.

Pretty ugly for over that way. Time to jump in the lake.

Muggy day here in Two Harbors, MN. Mid 80's with dewpoints in the upper 60's to 70deg. Lake Superior helping a little in keeping temps from blossoming. Hi all. New member here.
