  1. Rip! And Storm Field was a really good weatherman and personality.
  2. Best winter in at least a decade and possibly the last 15 years! Once 40 point blowout loss cannot diminish this great season. I liken today's 80 degree day to St John's season. 18-2 Big East record including them winning 16 out of their last seventeen games. Their only loss during the final two months of the regular season was not only of their most embarrassing losses in not only program history, but maby their worst Big East conference game that they have ever played!
  3. The 1990 record was sooner or later going to be broken.
  4. It will happen at the eleventh hour, if it does.
  5. Is this one of the top five winters over the past half century, Don?
  6. It's not over until we say, it's over! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?
  7. This winter has been just as severe as 13-14 and 14-15!
  8. March will not only average at least 5 degrees below normal, the park will not hit 56+ the entire month!
  9. Most dramatic favorable late shift since then?
  10. Best winter in 11 years, if we get a blockbuster Monday! This turns into an A winter if it hits!
  11. I feel that with the development of skyscrapers around Central Park over the last decade, the park is no longer capable of going down to 0.
  12. I equate Central Park's low of 3 this morning to last June's high of 99. These two temperatures are about the absolute maximums temperatures that Central Park can reach in today's climate!
  13. So far I would give this winter an A for cold and a B for snow. If it goes to 0 or below in Central Park this grade goes up to A+! I would consider 1993-94 the only A or A+ cold winter in my lifetime!
