Welcome to NC, and specifically the 85 curse zone from the Rowan/Cabarrus Co. line all the way to Greenville, SC. What county are u in btw??

NC native (SE Rowan County) currently live in the Roberta Mill area of Cabarrus County.( 1 mile S of 85 as the crow flies). Keep in mind many of these maps show sharp cut off over Mecklenburg County and the CLT metro as a whole. S.Meck is heavily populated (over 650,000 people S of uptown) Plus York Co (Rock Hill) has almost 300,000 people.) That to say, any shift of the snow south, even 10 miles, will make a huge difference where snow trucks, brime, sand, etc are allocated. BUT, as most of you know this is how Winter weather works in the Carolinas.

Don't throw in the towel folks! We still have a good 20-30 days where anything could happen. I think we have one more "winter storm" as well as a surprise like the N.Ga/Upstate event from a few weeks back!! Let's stay optimistic!!! :-)

40/22 in Welcome. Nothing falling. Left Concord at 7am can verify it was drizzling there and temp was up to 41/35. Is AMAZING that a short distance makes such a huge diff in the South.
