    Does this feel slightly 2010-ish? Like we were hovering around the 12"+ for forecasts, and then got really surprised. Now, I know there was probably a better slight up to allow for 20"+, but still, interesting.

    Well, just that the surface temp wouldn’t be as cold before the storm and it would be easier to push the warm air in. Just wondering if this could be a concern.

    Is anyone concerned we don’t get as cold tonight and tomorrow since we don’t have really any snow pack?

    We're probably in a decent spot at this point. We know that doesn't always mean anything, but storms like this do seem to tick north as they come in.

    To be fair the GFS was getting laughed at for showing us getting 6 feet, not 6 inches, lol.

    Even with a warm tongue potential. That would be coming after some seriously cold weather, correct. It's hard to scour out cold air, I thought anyway. Maybe it hangs on a bit longer before warm air over runs it.
