  1. Funny..my advice for years has ALWAYS avoid interstate highways during snow storms. I've found over many years of driving they're the worst place to be. Seen way too many friends get stuck for hours on interstates when a few extra minutes on secondaries would have saved the hassle
  2. Be safe. I'll probably WFH Friday. Take a joy ride to get coffee and run up to Blandford...do a loop back home before I start work
  3. Still 37 here in Westfield. Expected more warmth today, but not surprised either. Seen this a million times.
  4. I mean, I've seen it here for years...but there seems to be a whole new level of weenie the last couple seasons. Then there's DIT trying to reverse pshyc storms, and then believing it himself...
  5. Are you seriously talking about the NAM and saying that???
  6. Mmmmm yeah, I didn't see the GEFS. I see what you mean, but I don't think it makes a big sensible difference at this point. Subject to change of course.
  7. ?? The GFS was maybe slightly north, but others have come south since yesterday. What guidance are you referring to?
  8. It takes a while to read Johns posts...he's probably not through them yet
  9. I was thinking the same thing. Westfield to Simsbury at 5:30 a.m. should be a blast. I'll probably take the over the river and trough the woods long way in through Granville. Always a nice long way to work route with almost no traffic. Ram Power Wagon work truck FTW!
  10. it raged for about a minute...that was it
  11. Well that was quite anemic. Hopefully the second round on radar holds together...
  12. Thats where I used to find myself tensing up. I find if you fight that and relax your grip its more enjoyable
  13. It's too bad EverSharp carbides never caught on and went out of business! Ice was NEVER a problem with them and proper studs. By far the best carbides we ever used and never got dull
  14. 57 here at the shop in Simsbury. Looks like the front is entering Litchfield Co. Maybe some wind with that...but not expecting much. Several areas on my way in had small tree debris in the road
  15. Really, never thought that. Good, yes. Lindsey Buckingham ftw
  16. 52 here in Simsbury already. Any pack that was left yesterday is gone. Keeping an eye on the end of next week
  17. I agree with this. Watch is the key word for now..but there are some signs
