  1. I've had a gut feeling this season that we wouldn't go wall to wall with no action this season. Lets get some of these in the pipeline to verify!
  2. I thought the same thing haha. Cape Cod is listening!
  3. Isn't that a fine thing... Is that the Euro? Only looked at the GFS so far this A.M.
  4. Didn't even notice, I'll check it out
  5. I guess, I would just give it another day or so. Plenty of room in the February thread. Maybe start one for Thursday first?
  6. Lots of details to be worked out, but lots to look at in the pipeline. GFS has been fairly consistent for several runs, hopefully it's onto something (that isn't crack)
  7. Edit: after cleaning the truck, solid 2.75 in Westfield. Not bad imo for a flyin' Clipper. Just nice to see something that's been super rare lately
  8. Best rate so far this evening, closing fast on an inch. Have to sleep soon, hoping for at least 3 when I wake up
  9. Only been snowing here for a half hour and everything is already covered, even the main road
  10. No flurries here, but certainly has that snow smell to the air
  11. Down to 15 here, not as terrible as those up north. Maybe drop to 5 by morning. Looking forward to see what happens the next week +
  12. Up through VT also. We had a snowmobiling weekend planned a week or so later. SO many closed trails due to downed trees
  13. I just noticed that in the past couple hours it's dropped from 37 to 34°. Kind of unexpected on my end
  14. Couple years back it was saggy boob lows... now we're relegated to just the tip
  15. Stopped climbing at 37 down here in Simsbury a while ago. Hovering between 36 and 37
  16. Looking back at the time I saw that as the make winter great again storm. Those several prior winters were complete duds. I remember rough wiring a house one of those Februarys in a T shirt, and it wasn't just a couple day thing
  17. '78 and several others around that date
  18. Yes, correct. It seemed larger because of the snow drought we'd been in. My book shows 7 inches in Granby. It was a good omen for later that year
  19. If anyone would remember this, you certainly... Will. Do you remember a storm March 21/22 1991? It wasn't much of a winter but then we had a big dog Nor'Easter on those dates... all while I was driving back from Florida in a Ford Escort (puke) We hit first snow on the D.C. loop and were in and out all the way back to Granby CT. Seemed after like a harbinger of things to come the following years. This looks somewhat similar to the pattern leading up to that storm EDIT: 1990, or 1991. Almost positive it was 1991
  20. So seeing what Will posted about a possible upcoming pattern, is this what we call being nauseously optimistic? Sorry! I couldn't resist Seriously though, I'm all for seeing what may or may not develop out of what's depicted
  21. That 2/8 timeframe has been historically decent many times... lets root for some historical JuJu
