  1. LOL we never had any problems. Proper winter tires for the win!
  2. Snowing nicely in Westfield. About an inch so far. Roads surprisingly terrible. This modern treatment they use is terrible, makes the roads more slick during the storm. I miss the 70s/80s winter road management!
  3. Love the NAM, or love what it's known to often show? It's well known for it's theatrics
  4. That's what I was just pondering..how much more could it trend with the current setup
  5. Yeah, this stuff is dry as a bone. Accumulating really well here considering the rate of precip
  6. Well I do already have 3 inches at my shop in the valley..didn't expect that this early
  7. 2 inches at the shop in Simsbury...kind of surprised considering the radar. can't wait to see the heavier stuff 19 Degrees
  8. 2" on the nose in Westfield as I was jumping in the truck to head to work
  9. Isn't it this afternoon/evening that the "real" sampling takes place for the last pieces to the puzzle
  10. And then rain late in the week..hopefully that evolves in the coming days!
  11. Another 1.75 last night at home. Westfield at 4 inches, Simsbury 3.25
  12. 2 inches in Westfield. Just got in from snowblowing, it's very wet stuff
  13. Mixed light snow and sleet in Westfield 29°. Was doing the same at the shop in Simsbury
  14. At this point, fine with me. It would feel like more with the duration
  15. Yeah... but isn't the red flag precip forming below the DGZ after its been going a while? I would say that's what keeps us from the six inch type totals
  16. Not always. There are some better all seasons, however some that are labeled that way are totally useless in the snow. See it all the time in the valley on the sports cars. But yeah, the lack of driving skill is alarming also
  17. Agreed. Part of the problem are "all season" tires that might as well be a racing slick. It amazes me how many drive on totally inappropriate tires in winter in New England. That and just terrible driving skills (cell phone)
  18. Yup! That's when I started lurking here, The only thing that comes close is 11/12 after the halloween storm. Even then we had at least a few couple inchers to track
  19. Good idea. Just as things may be waking up..or at least something to track he drops crap like that
  20. I don't know how long you've been around here, but you should know to not pay Twitter Mets any attention anyway. Also watching the SSW for a pattern change is usually useless as tits on a bull as far as I've seen since its been a thing talked about on this forum.
