  1. Can’t recall a storm in the recent past(and we have had some high wind events) where Eversource called ahead and said expect to lose power and potentially for multiple days. This blows. No pun intended, lol.
  2. Uber blocky patterns do funky things that don’t always work out in our favor...
  3. Yes, a place where pack a fetish is born...
  4. Coming down quite nicely, everything freshened up. One of the best pre holiday patterns in quite some time. Grinch be dammed.
  5. Keeps flipping back and forth, no semblance of accumulation or consistency
  6. Hope that nammy comes to fruition, however A bit worried for my local. Not a single flake as of yet.
  7. Last couple HRRR runs have been quite paltry for the CT crew.
  8. Is a storm “creating its own cold” part of the fraud 5?, lol...
  9. Don’t mean to be redundant but, quite warm out there at the moment... We need to rip a chunk out of the stratosphere for this to work out like some think.
  10. Hi folks... tough, tough, forecast. Hoping for some accumulation, but hanging on by one singular pube. Might I go out and mow my grass down to the dirt ala ‘berg to realize fully the potential of this event in south central CT? Hold my beer...”honey just stepping out to grab some gas for the lawn mower”
  11. Yup. This train leaves at 4:00am sharp tomorrow morn to Jay for what should be THE pow day of the season thus far.
  12. Me thinks Jay Peak is gonna clean up. 2ft incoming. Gas up the Winny, I’m there.
  13. I’ve worked turf at all levels, from elite country clubs to Municipal tracks and the struggle does not discriminate. Like you eluded to earlier, we aren’t in SC and the seasonality of the sport in New England makes it even tougher.
  14. Yeah, this is a misconception. After the Tiger Boom, the golf industry as a whole has taken a hit. Not as much interest in the sport overall has led to dwindling profit margins.
  15. Product of the entire industry, courses closing more and more.
  16. 33 degree misery mist. Yesssssss!!!!!
  17. Oooo....That would be great. Love to meet the crew and swing the sticks! Not too far from my home town of East Granby.
