  1. There was one in Feb. 2010 iirc, though could be off. all rain. 70-80mph gusts near MHT and we lost power for 8 days.
  2. :40 I felt that strike and was inside basement not outside
  3. a few moderate rain showers, much-needed. Of course CNE NNE etc. other areas are a different story. Stein relief
  4. if a pop-up shower for 30 seconds in April is your thing, do it
  5. yeah a good one, especially for the date. at winthrop/revere beach, I'd see roughly 6 sets of high-rolling white caps, gradually becoming more faint until the grey gloom unknown of rain-fog-spray obscured everything.
  6. Yeah impactful at least, but just not too exciting. I suppose someone sees 8" or 12" of rain I guess that's exciting
  7. saw one big 'un limb across a white ford escape in Charlestown near I-93 on ramp
  8. honestly the winds weren't that much less here. maybe 15-25mph here and 25-35 along the coast. Winthrop Beach, Revere, East Boston, South Boston, Seaport ( had a 45? gust there!) etc. etc. watching the surf, it was a typical nor'easter at least in this area.
  9. remain vigilant and safe, we know what happened last time
  10. that was a mid storm at best. no one would talk about this so excitedly if it weren't for the 3 months of coc
  11. Pretty normal storm. Im in Winthrop right on the water. Gusts around 40
  12. OE sprinkles here, looking forward to the steady rains and light winds
  13. You do realize those forecasts become less useful the further out you go...i.e. you are posting the equivalent of 384hr gfs
  14. Yeah looks like a weak nor'easter, nothing we haven't seen a billion times. Wish it missed but we do need the rain.
  15. outside of January, I could see this a big rainer with maybe elevation snows
  16. I prefer all-or-nothing, heavy flooding and damage or coc sunny and 60. Looks like the worst-case scenario with light steady winds/gusts, nusciance rain bands
